Building Bridges for Business: Future Founders at the British Omani Society

Last week, we had the privilege of attending an exclusive event at the British Omani Society in London, focused on free zones and investment opportunities in Oman. The evening’s keynote was delivered by H.E. Sheikh Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, former Minister of Commerce and Industry and now the official responsible for overseeing all of Oman’s free zones, alongside distinguished guests including Oman’s Ambassador to the UK.

It was more than an event, it was an opportunity to strengthen ties. We were honoured to meet His Excellency personally and discuss our new business venture, sharing our vision for how innovation can support Oman’s growth in sectors like technology, media and education. Conversations with other senior figures in attendance reinforced one thing: there is real appetite for collaboration and progress.

For us at Future Founders, this moment matters. It shows that we don’t just talk about opportunities in Oman, we are connected at the highest levels, building trusted relationships that help us open doors and get things done.

We are excited about where these connections will lead, and about the role we can play in bringing new technologies and fresh thinking to Oman and the wider GCC.
